ISTRIA SCAVENGER HUNT
Duration: 1 – 3 hours
Suitable for groups: 8 to 400 people
Possible locations: Rovinj, Poreč, Pula, Opatija or Rijeka.
Istria, also known as Terra Magica from the Roman civilization as the Magic Land is a region known for its rich history and cultural diversity. The history of Istria reflects a combination of different civilizations and influences, making it a unique and fascinating area to explore.
It will take the participants on a journey through historical sights and traditions while offering an engaging and fun adventure.
Participants will be divided into small teams where each team will have the goal to complete tasks and take a photograph of the accomplishment within a limited time frame. Points will be awarded based on the team’s performance. Some assignments are related to discovering towns and their history while other tasks are created for pure fun because they have ice breaking elements.
This program is our best-seller and it offers plenty of possibilities for customizing. Upon request, we can also add some tasks that are related to your company.
TREASURE HUNT
Duration: 1 – 3 hours
Suitable for groups: 8 to 400 people
Possible locations: Rovinj, Poreč, Pula, Opatija or Rijeka.
Among many delicacies from the area, truffles stand out as a particularly prized delicacy. Truffle hunting in Istria is centuries old. Primarily pigs were used to locate them, but today trained dogs are the main hunters.
Don’t worry, we are not offering a real truffle hunt where you will need to sniff around in the forest. This is an adventurous treasure hunt game where the truffle is the hidden treasure your teams need to find in one of the Istrian towns faster than your opponents.
The way to the treasure is filled with the numerous clues encrypted in puzzles, riddles and map pieces. Each solved clue takes you closer to the treasure – the famous Istrian truffle!
Hunters will test their knowledge, resourcefulness and teamwork while learning about the town’s history and Istrians traditions.
FILM PRODUCTION
Duration: 2-4 hours
Suitable for groups: 8 to 500 people
Possible locations: practically anywhere; Rovinj, Poreč, Pula, Opatija or Rijeka.
Istria is a home to numerous film festivals. The most famous ones are Pula and the Motovun Film Festival.
This unique activity will give your teams the opportunity to create their own films. Each team member will get to choose their roles in the production process so they can end up being actors, film directors, cameramen and similar. Each team member has an important role in creating the film. The whole team needs to sit together and write the scenario and for that purpose we will provide the scenario boards.
You can decide on the topic of their scenarios. This can range from filming a company advert video to music, documentary, hidden camera or any other video form. The scenario writing usually takes about 30-45 minutes and the best venue for this is your hotel’s conference hall. After the scenarios are more-less done, teams go wherever they want to go to fill their scenes. Sometimes they may want to film at the hotel, around the hotel, in town center, at the beach or even in their rooms. This all depends on the requirements for their scenes.
Once the video shooting is done, our editors will review and edit the videos. Their movie directors may require final touches such as titles, special sounds or effects. We usually need several hours for editing and our editors job is to cut all the material down to a 1-3 minute duration.
Optionally, to conclude the entire “Hollywood” experience, all teams are invited to the Oscar Awards Ceremony! The red carpet will be set out and all movies will be projected on the big screen. After the nominations and the jurys’ decision, statues for different categories such as Best Actor, Best Director and so on will be given to teams for their hard work. They will be receiving their awards and give their “thank you” speeches in front of the whole group.
Istria Film Production Challenge is the most creative team-building activity and the result is a video that will be the lasting memory from this day.
